PINBALL FX3 CABINET MODE DMD3 WINDOWS
As Windows resolution on my DMD screen will only as low as 800圆00 and need screen aspect ratio 4:1. Ensure you're on the latest PUPVpinMame pupdmdcontrol.exe file (Pinup Player Version - 1.4.4 or Higher) In FX3 cabinet settings you must set your DMD size to 520 width and 136 height. 1360 x 768 / 4:1 aspect ratio 340x192 and use FX3 cabinet DMD location to move into correct place on screen. Tables like Dr Dude should have that single strip of score displays like all Bally of that era, something like Space Station should have 4 individual score displays.īut hey, at least Zen put something out there for the cab fans to get up and running and start a wishlist of everything they'd like to see put in when Zen gets back to it. My cabinet setup is 3 monitors Windows set monitors resolution to 1080x1920 (Playfield), 1360x768 (DMD) and 1280x720 (Backglass).

I really do hope when Zen gets back to developing for cab mode (after console release) that dynamic backglass are a priority, especially for the non DMD titles where the scores are in different locations of the backglass. For now I think I'm just going to observe from far, as I don't feel like creating new backglass for the the new tables. I'm sure eventually this and the UI for setting up second screen and DMD will all be back to in game like FX3, but for now it's a pain unless you are playing on a dedicated cab unit. I don't like that I have to go into Windows to rotate as opposed to how it is in FX3. Pinball FX3 If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ by clicking the link above. Wow, talk about being in an early phase! I play in cab mode with my desktop computer that has a rotating monitor.
